Power Steering Leak Repair
What is the part that needs repair, and what does it do?
The power steering system in your car uses hydraulic fluid under high pressure to help you move your wheels more easily.
How did this part get damaged or worn on my car? What is wrong with it?
The power steering system can leak from many places in the system due to wear and tear, including the fluid pump and fluid hoses.
What other problems can this issue cause?
Leaks in the power steering system decrease pressure in the system, reducing the effectiveness of power steering. This loss of control can be unsafe. A leak can also cause fluid to get on parts not meant to be exposed to it, which can accelerate wear-and-tear.
